| The UNAIDS Regional Strategic Team in Latin America brings together the coordinated efforts and resources of all United Nations Co-sponsor Agencies in support of the national response to AIDS, in harmonization with key stakeholders at different levels, striving to achieve Universal Access to prevention, treatment and care & support under the platform of the Three Ones and within a context low HIV prevalence and a scenario of middle-income countries. Under the guidance and supervision of the UNAIDS RST LA Director, the Executive Associate ensures effective and efficient functioning of the Director’s Office, full confidentiality in all aspects of assignment, administrative support services ensuring high quality and accuracy of work. |
| Recruitment Qualifications | |
| Education: | Secondary Education with specialized secretarial training. Degree in Executive Secretary, Business Administration, or related fields, desirable |
| Experience: | 6 years of progressively responsible secretarial, administrative, programme experience is required at the national or international level. Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc), experience in handling of web based management systems. |
| Language Requirements: | Fluency in Spanish and in English, both written and verbal. Portuguese is desirable, but is not a requirement. Fluency in English to be tested through TOEFL (450 points) |
