 I.  Position Information

The position is locally administered by UNDP but is financed by the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) in Panama. 

Job Code Title:                Administrative Clerk

Pre-classified Grade:    ICS-4 / GS-4

Type of contract:           Fixed-Term

Reports to:                       UNAIDS Country Coordinator for Panamá and Costa Rica            


Under the guidance and supervision of the Coordinator, the Administrative Clerk provides support to administrative services ensuring high quality of work, ensures accurate, timely and properly recorded/documented service delivery. The Administrative Clerk promotes a client, quality and results-oriented approach.

 The Administrative Clerk works in close collaboration with the CO, UN Agencies, and UNAIDS Geneva to ensure efficient flow of information, actions on instructions, agendas.

 VI. Recruitment Qualifications 

 

Education:

Secondary education with specialized training in office management.  Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related fields, desirable.

 

Experience:

3-4 years of administrative experience. Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

 Language Requirements:

Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.  Fluency in English to be tested through TOEFL test (minimum 450 points).
